Busy...
Journal Entry: Sun May 18, 2008, 8:50 PM
Just a warning ahead of time: I won't be very active for the next few weeks. Maybe some photos, but I don't have time for manips. Well, technically I don't have time for them now either, but I'm going to be even busier.
Finals are coming up, and I really need to start studying. Written and oral in Spanish, the entire semester for math [since we didn't take a math midterm], a project in my arts class, and some massive test for English, which we also didn't have a midterm in.
Plus, I have this big project due in math on the 22, which I THOUGHT was next Thursday but turns out is this one, so I'm crazy behind. It's worth a test grade, so I really have to ace it. However, I don't know HOW I'm going to find time to work on it.
I've got riding every day; I REALLY shouldn't be going tomorrow, but I promised my friend I'd giver her a ride. I should have worked on this thing today, but I went to a Jake's basketball game with Brook. So I've got riding and school, not to mention I may be working at a local barn to earn some serious cash. We also have the school art show coming up, which I'm always pretty involved with; I've got a few pieces going in, mostly drawings and paintings.
I don't start showing until the first Tri-State on June 3, since that's the first available show after the private school girls leave. There was a small schooling show today, which I could have gone to with Boy [my instructor offered me yesterday, since she knows I really wanted to go and was supposed to get my show season started almost a month ago; I trained Boy, so I use him for a substitute sometimes...] but I couldn't. For one, Boy doesn't do Jumpers; he's to clumsy and just trips everywhere. So I'd be doing Hunters. Again. Plus, SHE would be riding my other baby, and I'd probably explode having to see it ALL DAY. And I'd promised Jake and my friends on his team that I'd go to their game.
On a happier note, I got her through a horribly tough course on Saturday on my first try, with several obstacles she's never jumped before.
Jake's team one, 67 to 48. They're good 8D Of course, whenever I go to those things a bunch of creepy, testosterone-fueled guys fresh off the courts always hit on me. It's annoying.
ANYWAY, yeah. Riding ever day, finals, school projects, friends = busy. Ugh. School tomorrow. I totally forget everything we covered in math, so I couldn't do my homework. Not to mentioned I'll have to think about that project, which I'm way behind on. Spanish just sucks, because my teacher is on crack [not literally o.O] and I don't like any of the kids in my class. Art... we're working on self portraits. I hate drawing people, especially myself. Plus, I didn't do my homework but I didn't have TIME. English is usually fun, but we're doing this really annoying project that I don't care for. So I'm kinda dreading school every day at the moment, until, like... after we finish the self-portraits, I get my math project handed in, we start talking about what the art final will be, I get a firmer handle on what we're doing in math, we finish that project in English... bleh. Plus, I have a ten page research paper due in English within the next few weeks. Lucky me.
We'll be getting the camera fixed soon, thank god. And my mom has confirmed that we WILL be getting a tablet after school gets out ^^
It's almost midnight, I'm exhausted but still have to blow-dry my hair which will take me at least half an hour. And I have to at least finish writing up ideas for my math project so all I have to do is collect the stuff and put it together. So 'night all ^^ Sweet dreams xD

Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
